Craft Town Scotland is a project of the West Kilbride Community Initiative Ltd, Company no. SC192083 and Scottish Charity no. SCO28481
Located on the scenic Ayrshire coastline overlooking the isle of Arran, West Kilbride is Scotland's first accredited Craft Town and a Visitscotland 4-star Visitor Attraction. Featuring the award winning Barony Centre and 9 Craft studios, West Kilbride is known locally as 'The Village’. Whilst it may be a small rural town, West Kilbride offers a great range of independent retailers and places of interest which complement its major cultural attraction, Craft Town Scotland.

Vist Scotland Taste Our Best Accredited
The Barony Café menu is simple with healthy, delicous soups and seasonal local produce as well as great coffee and home baking. All food is either freshly prepared or cooked on the premises, using local suppliers whenever possible.
Please note: lunch orders are taken between 12 and 2.30pm - we continue to serve drinks and cakes until 3.45pm in preparation for closing at 4.00pm. If you have limited time, why not call to reserve a table or better still pre-book your lunch. We are a small team so recommend that parties of 8 visitors or more call at least 24 hours ahead so we can provide your group with the quality food and service we pride ourselves on giving. We also offer to cater for larger parties and coach parties in our mezzanine area but require at least 48 hours advance notice.
Craft Studios - Open to the public 3 days a week; Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11am - 3.00pm. Some studios open more regularly and have extended opening hours. However, as working studios, makers cannot always guarantee immediate access. (We strongly recommend that you call the studios before traveling specifically to visit).
