52 Stitched Stories

52 Stitched Stories

This project is open to everyone in West Kilbride.
The ambition is for everyone involved to create a postcard in any medium once a week during 2019. You could create a postcard using textiles, art, photography, pottery, poems, stories or anything else you can think of.
The 52 postcards are designed to reflect each persons story throughout the year. Inspiration can come from anywhere and anything. Changing seasons, life events, emotions, activities or simply colour are all just examples of what could be used.
At the end of the project we aim to share the 52 Stitched Stories in 2020.
We will meet once a month throughout the project to share our work in progress and to support each other.
This community project is being run in conjunction with 52 Stitched Stories project in Arran. We will hopefully be having meet ups with both groups throughout the year.

Next meeting: Tuesday 5th November 2019, 7.30pm, The Barony Centre
