HIDDEN AGENDA: SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS CRAFT.  MAD KID'S BEDROOM WALL POT, GRAYSON PERRY, 1996. PHOTO BY NICK MOSS

The Barony Centre's programme for 2015 continues to celebrate Scottish craft and fruitful collaborations between Scottish makers and artists, designers and makers worldwide.  This year's programme ranges from the work of those who ploughed their own furrow whilst creating forms which inspired makers around the globe, to collectives who promote traditional skills whilst pushing materials and techniques in the creation of new craft forms, to those makers who expolore socio-political subjects; covering societal injustice, subversion, propaganda, remembrance, monetary value and economy in materials and production methods. We end 2015 with an exhibition of small-scale design-led craft which promises to provide stunning craft to give and receive.

Entry to all exhibitions is free and we endeavour to keep costs for our workshops as low as possible
