Expressions of Interest, Barony Centre Cafe Operation

Expressions of Interest sought for the Operation of the Cafe Premises of the Craft Town Scotland situated in The Barony Centre, 50 Main Street, West Kilbride, North Ayrshire, KA23 9AR

A contract to operate the Café premises at The Barony Centre owned by the West Kilbride Community Initiative Limited (WKCIL) to operate under the banner of the Craft Town Scotland (CTS) is available from November/December 2011 to 31^st December 2012.  There may be an option to renew for a further two years by agreement with both parties on completion of a satisfactory service in 2011/12.

CTS/WKCIL is looking for interested parties to submit an expression of interest in the first instance as soon as possible. CTS/WKCIL will permit the Caterer to have sole catering rights within the Craft Town Scotland and to occupy the premises particularly set aside within the Barony Centre as a Café for the purpose of providing a public catering service. CTS/WKCIL require the applicant to detail their intended days/times of opening, CTS/WKCIL suggest a minimum operating provision between the hours of 10am and 5pm be considered. However, extended trading may be possible. This area has a maximum capacity for 24 covers.  CTS/WKCIL will require the use of the café area, but not the kitchen area, without the attendance of the operator during evenings as agreed throughout the trading year. The premises will be supplied as functional kitchen and cafe area although the successful applicant may wish to amend, add or alter the existing set up and this would be allowable with approval from CTS/WKCIL and the meeting of any statutory requirements.

Expressions of interest should be submitted in writing or via email to the Craft Town Administration Office at the above address. Upon receipt, full application packs will be sent out by Monday 26^th September 2011.
